1977-78?  The car was believed to have been built by Richie Carmen in Congleton . Called "Incantation" It was originally Burgundy with a Ford V6 engine and used a Jago pop chassis.  It is also believed to have pulled the "Coca Cola" trailer  and was featured (one page) in Custom Car Magazine in 1979. The car disappeared off the scene for quite a while until about 2003 and we have no info on the car for this period. In 2004 it was purchased by ourselves and had to undergo extensive work. The car needed a complete rewire as there was no horn, sidelights or main beams working. Also the front suspension needed a complete strip down with steering gators split, worn wishbone rubbers and a sheared stud on the retaining collar for the shock absorber along with several loose nuts and bolts. Both wheel bearings also needed adjustment. In February 2005 the car was unveiled at the Alexander Palace Xtreme Wheels show.

The car is not yet up to the standard for highly competitive racing or showing but can still run healthy times and sit with the other hot rods on the show field and get an admiring glance or two.

Thanks to Gaz, BlackPopUK, Cunningplan and Buz (NSRA Forum) the above info

and to Ian Nelson our "Head Wrench" for the help that you have given us last season and this.
